Team North Broad in the middle of North Broad! Please don't tell our insurance company...

Philadelphia is the cradle of liberty and the birthplace of our beautiful democracy! Thanks to our partner organization, North Broad Renaissance, we took to the most iconic street in the city to clean things up and improve the blocks near the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel (now Apartments).

North Broad Renaissance

The North Broad Renaissance is a non-profit that will serve as a Special Service District (SSD) whose primary role is to provide communication and information to all relevant parties on North Broad, from City Hall to Germantown Avenue. This includes a huge population and presents a massive opportunity for what North Broad calls "community revitalization."

Our small role in that process was centered on one of North Broad's strategic focus areas - Maintenance and Landscaping. If you've walked up and down North Broad street, you know that it has suffered from neglect and disinvestment, but if you haven't been through in a while, you haven't seen the amazing progress that North Broad and their partners have made!

You can learn more about ways to get involved with North Broad Renaissance on their website!

brick and mortar

After a long day of beautifying, we headed for the beautiful space (and air conditioning) of Brick And Mortar (BAM). BAM is located in the Goldtex Building at 12th and Pearl Street, and offers a wide-ranging menu and phenomenal bar program. We were fortunate enough to have our friends from Left Hand Brewing buy a super refreshing round of Good JuJu! That plus breakfast taco bar equals a solid second Saturday!
