What we do.

  • Volunteer

Volunteer the second Saturday of the month with different nonprofit partners in Philadelphia. We volunteer with partners who focus on education, sustainability, or health & human services.

  • Afterjawn

Head to a nearby bar or restaurant post-volunteering for our “Afterjawn.” This is a way to connect & network with our volunteers, who we affectionately call the VU Crew.

  • Untap Resources

Make an impact in Philly and tap into new connections - from new grassroots organizations to established nonprofits to new members of the VU Crew to bars hosting us for the Afterjawn.

What we’ve done.

Did you know you CAN put a price on volunteering? Volunteer time is valued at $31.80 per hour. We added up all volunteer hours from 2023 and we totaled the equivalent of $16,068.25 worth of work that our nonprofit partners did not have to pay for so they can continue investing in their endeavors.
