What we will be doing on Saturday, October 15th, 9 AM - 1 PM:

MANNA is gearing up for their Pie in the Sky campaign, their largest fundraiser of the year, and they need our help! This year, MANNA’s goal is to bake, sell, and distribute 11,000 pies. Money raised goes directly towards preparing and delivering Thanksgiving dinners and providing year-round services for people with acute nutritional risk from a critical illnesses such as cancer, chronic kidney disease, HIV/AIDS and more.

Volunteer activities:

  • Activity 1: Pie box assembly, sealing pies

  • Activity 2: Getting pies packaged and ready for pick-up

Come for the pies, stay for the Afterjawn!

  • After a long day in the MANNA kitchen, we'll head to a local restaurant for some food, drinks, and hangs. It's a great chance to get to know the VU Crew and celebrate the good work we're all doing together!
